Story Foundation is a blockchain platform for intellectual property in the age of AI. For its launch, Art Camp and OTM produced a film built as one continuous zoom.

From mycelium networks, through ancient Greek philosophers, into 20th-century science fiction, and out into the Story platform itself. We produced the still imagery for the film alongside Santiago Carrasquilla, on a Midjourney pipeline shaped around the zoom.

Every still had to enter the next through a single point — a window onto a philosopher, the philosopher's eye onto a reflection, the reflection onto a train, across thirteen worlds.

Composition was built around that point first, sized to survive being pushed to the frame's edge on zoom-out and tight enough at the entry to let the next world load. The worlds were generated; the portals were not. Every transition — the window, the eye, the reflection — was drawn by hand. AI fills the worlds, human hands cut the seams.

Roughly 35,000 Midjourney generations to land thirteen sequences. Multiple variants per still, because each transition needed three usable versions that could be timed across the cross-zoom. Inpainting filled in thegeometry where one world had to dock into the next without breaking the camera path.

The selection work was a permanent narrowing — generate, sort by vanishing-point fit, regenerate the gaps, inpaint the docks.

The stills feed a single After Effects pipeline that drives the continuous zoom across the full film. The film launched the Story Foundation platform in 2025.
